A historic village, preserved beaches and the iconic Quadrado surrounded by colorful little houses.
Open location on the mapTrancoso combines a distinctive historic center with extensive beaches and preserved natural areas. The Quadrado, with its colorful houses, São João Batista Church and the viewpoint over the coast, is the heart of the village. From there, the itinerary can continue to Nativos, Coqueiros and Rio Verde beaches. Travel time from Porto Seguro varies depending on whether you choose the ferry or the road route, so setting aside a full day is recommended. Arrange return transport in advance, especially if the outing includes more remote beaches or times when transport is less readily available.
Via the ferry and BA-986/BA-001 or via BR-367, depending on traffic and crossing conditions.
