A village without regular car traffic, between river, sea, Pataxó culture and preserved landscapes.
Open location on the mapCaraíva is a village of sandy streets set between the river, the sea and territories with a strong Pataxó cultural presence. Road access ends at the parking area on the other side of the Caraíva River; arrival in the village is by canoe. The mouth of the Caraíva River, Satu Beach, boat trips and authorized community experiences reveal different dimensions of the destination. The absence of regular car traffic reinforces the place’s peaceful pace. Travel light, wear footwear suitable for sand and check road conditions, crossing times and the tide in advance.
Follow BA-001 and the Caraíva road to the parking area; enter the village by canoe along the river.
