Natural pools and protected reefs reached on a boat trip that depends on the tide.
Open location on the mapRecife de Fora Marine Park protects one of the most important reef environments on the Costa do Descobrimento. The tour departs from Porto Seguro’s pier aboard an authorized vessel and only takes place when the tide and weather allow a safe visit. In the natural pools, the experience combines floating, watching fish and corals, and environmental education. The boarding point is downtown and easily reached from the airport and bus terminal. Do not touch the corals, stay within the limits set by the monitors and bring a UV-protective shirt. Times and duration vary according to the tide table.
