Trancoso’s Quadrado brings together landscape, houses and local life. São João Batista Church is a visual landmark, but entry to its interior depends on its own opening arrangements. Take time to see the different sides of the square and respect everyday and religious uses of the space.
Choose a drop-off point and a walking route suited to your group. If combining the visit with a beach, confirm the chosen access and return path. Seeing the sea from above does not mean every beach entrance is nearby.
