About this place
A very beautiful, peaceful and deserted beach, wonderful for walks. Lençois Beach in Santa Cruz Cabrália has a steep shore break and coarse, soft, lighter-colored sand. Walking is difficult because your feet sink into the sand with every step. The water also becomes deep as soon as you enter. It is not very busy and has larger waves than the other beaches in the region. This place is part of Rede Bem Bahia’s Regional Guide and helps visitors understand the natural, historical, cultural and scenic diversity of the Costa do Descobrimento. The experience varies with the time of day, tide, weather, calendar and means of access. Plan your visit considering travel, time on site and current rules, and confirm operational information before setting out.
Getting there
In the Santa Cruz Cabrália area, access may be via the beach, the banks of the João de Tiba River, a pier or a boat. Confirm the exact location, tide, ferry times and navigation conditions.
