“Broduei” is a pleasant street connecting Praça São Brás to Nossa Senhora d’Ajuda Church. Considered Arraial’s first entertainment center, it has several shops, bars and restaurants where people from around the world can be found seeking a souvenir, a good photograph or a relaxing drink. It is also internationally known as “Esquina do Mundo” (“Corner of the World”), because people from many parts of the world meet there.

From Porto Seguro, cross the Buranhém River by ferry and follow Estrada da Balsa to Arraial d’Ajuda. Road access is also available via BA-986, without a river crossing.
