For 20 days in June, a succession of musical attractions takes place in downtown Porto Seguro, its neighborhoods and districts. Featuring renowned sertanejo and authentic forró performers, the festivities combine successful acts from today's national scene with traditional names from northeastern Brazil's forró scene.

The program usually extends to neighborhoods, districts and villages, showcasing local artists and national acts. Stages, lighting, June festival decorations and safety measures vary with each edition, so the official calendar is the reference for dates and venues.
The main circuit usually occupies Passarela da Cultura in central Porto Seguro, accessible by taxi, ride-hailing service, public transport or on foot from the center. On busy nights there are closures and diversions; plan to be dropped off outside the perimeter and check each district's program.
