Mucugê Beach (South coast)

Porto Seguro · Bahia

Visitor guide

Organising your visit

Mucugê Beach forms part of Arraial d’Ajuda’s coastline in Porto Seguro. Access should be planned separately from a visit to Rua do Mucugê, a landmark in the district center. Choose an arrival point, check services and assess sea conditions before entering the water.

Mucugê Beach and Rua do Mucugê are different landmarks in Arraial d’Ajuda: one is a seaside destination and the other is part of the town. Use an exact location when checking a map or arranging a meeting. Beach facilities and bathing conditions need to be checked at the stretch you intend to visit.

Plan the descent to the beach and return to the centre around your group’s pace. For visitors with reduced mobility, confirm the actual access rather than relying on map distance. Pitinga can be a separate part of the itinerary, with the journey agreed in advance.
