About this place
Originally known as Praça da Paz, Praça do Relógio acquired its nickname in 1999, when a clock was installed to count down to the year 2000. The clock was later removed, leaving the square without the structure for a time. It is a nightlife gathering spot in Porto Seguro. This place is part of Rede Bem Bahia’s Regional Guide and helps visitors understand the natural, historical, cultural and scenic diversity of the Costa do Descobrimento. The experience varies with the time of day, tide, weather, calendar and means of access. Plan your visit considering travel, time on site and current rules, and confirm operational information before setting out.
