About this place
In the village of Santo Antônio, Santa Cruz Cabrália, just beyond Santo André, stands the church that gives the place its name. The matchmaking saint, whose story is also honored by a statue in the municipality, has his church on a very simple street with a modest rural atmosphere, opposite the neighborhood square. This place is part of Rede Bem Bahia’s Regional Guide and helps visitors understand the natural, historical, cultural and scenic diversity of the Costa do Descobrimento. The experience varies with the time of day, tide, weather, calendar and means of access.
